You are allowed to have an account on each poker room. However, you cannot claim an initial deposit bonus on your carbon account if you have used one on Poker.com

You cannot play both rooms at the same time, this I can assure you... So, there is no playing multi accounts at the same time.

To be honest there is no real advantage to a Poker.com player switching to the Carbon skin. You still play the same players and tournaments.

I guess its only if you would like a different looking lobby or table skins.

Funny but i just tried to login at CP and it wouldnt recognise my poker com account and when i tried to open a new one (yes other nickname) it gave me a security disable error as if my email or ip are banned...

Go to poker.com map/catalog and find a file called notes.dat make a backup of that file, because u will lose data from it over time.
make a copy of it and find carbonpoker.com map and c if u have a similar file in there, if so don't overwrite but make copy of carbonpoker.com notes.dat file put it in backup map u create and then copy/paste notes.dat from poker.com there, if u r lucky your notes has been transfered to carbonpoker.com.

You cannot create any new accounts at Poker.com, only new accounts can be opened on Carbon.

Its just a matter of what color skins you prefer....

Most of us still play on poker.com just the new players are playing with the carbonpoker skin. It's all one big happy family just like before. I think this is rather dumb. I thought it was more like having two platforms on the same network... similar to the Prima Network for example. But instead Poker.com is basically history (How much did the domain cost to have this happen?) and everything has become overcomplicated because of this. WHat about Poker.com referring friends?

The only reason I play here (other than it being my first site :) ) is it has the best smilies on the net!

Yes there will definitely be more smileys. In fact I have a few new ones that are done but not yet released. Also, smileys are the same on both Carbonpoker and Poker.com and will continue to be so. If your smileys aren't working, then check that: Settings > Game > Show Speech Bubbles is ticked.

there seems to be a lot of worried people out there...like their world is coming to an end. its just another skin. there are so many other poker sites that do exactly the same thing...but not just one "carbon"...but many. and its all good...for the sites and for the players. one day you may find that there is a special tour at poker.com...but not at carbon...and vice versa...so you just drift to the skin that has the best offers and move your money. at the moment its the same...but mark my words...that will change...and there will be more than just this carbon one in the future...this is just the beginning. and if you have the money and the time...maybe one of us can buy a skin too...and have a piece of the pie. but like i said...its all good.

Umm Guys,

I haven't tried it or anything but I was wondering. Is there anything stopping people from using Virtual Machine software from using both clients together. If not I'm just trying to give the admins a heads up on that. For instance what would stop someone from opening up poker.com and logging in and then opening up a virtual machine such as VMWare, booting into whatever OS is running in that and running the second client.

Like I said before, I haven't tried it so I don't know whether or not it would work and I'm pretty sure that the average poker player isn't quite that tech savvy but your fraud guys might definitely want to look into that.

Virtual machines would be of no help...

We have many security measures to protect against software abuse. But even if you did find a way to open 2 clients via one machine.... You still wouldn't be able to sit at the same ring game or enter the same tournament... So there is no advantage.

Also, if you're already an active account holder on the network then even though you can open an account on each skin.... you will not be entitled to receive the New player Freeroll coupon entry. Other offers you will be eligible, but not this particular promotion.

Check in the cashier on the coupon tab and see if you have been given the coupon. I don't really know but I'm sure support could answer that question for you.

I beleive you might be, but mostly only only new member for freerolls if you made a deposit for said freerolls. All other freerolls on site anyone is able to join long as either requirements met.

Well to answer you the best way I can is I did ask.At first I didnt know that they were the same carbon,.com & nordica but low and behold they are .Now I was told that you will only be credited for the first one you deposit and sign up with and claim the freeroll for new playeres and the new depositers,you can have an account at all 3 ,but you cant get all the freerolls for newplayers at them .I have a friend tell me that they registered and got it ,but they slipped through.You have to use a different user name and email.I also asked the live chat ,so if I deposit for the first time at this one just say it was carbon ,you are telling me that I can not get the first deposit freerolls and if I have used a initial deposit bonus code that I can not use it again or any other bonus codes that apply to 1st depositers at the other 2 places and was told correct.So really you dont get nothing outta haveing all 3 or just 2 except the fun steps .You can not registerfor the same freeroll on them it will tell you that your IP address is already registered and you can not have more that one of them open at a time they will not run together .So maybe this will help answer your question some ....lustyln

I believe if you make a deposit on each site you are considered a new player on that site and can get the bonuses and everything that comes with being a new depositer. Money transfers form one site to another is not concided a deposit. By the way pokercs has 4 skins.

I agree mimi. we all one big conglomerate, why second account on same full system ! Even though peoples did and some may still have two accounts on poker.com. Witch i could never figure out why!

I couldn't find a Poker.com download link. Hence my reason for the second account. I would have prefered using my old account but no luck on that one.:cool:

You can access your old account by going to pokercs.com and log in to player administration.

In the column on the left hand side of the web page near the bottom click on Re-Download Software and reinstall your old account.

I'm sorry Steel but that won't work for my account. I've tried countless times to login there but no luck. Even support tried before resetting PW and no luck. The only way I could access it was to have Poker.com running and I could never get into the Forum as a logged in member. :cool:

Went through all of the "STUFF" taked about in previous posts when it was obvious that Carbon looked like it was going to phase out P.C -------------- ended up as HDfree81 because HDfree was already taken at P.C ..... whatever !

NOW that clarification has been made that P.C will NOT go away AND NO-ONE NEW can join, THEN, in time it will be a neat little group. Games will cross over, BUT there will be a commonality that will remain forever. WHATEVER ! :wave:

Just a quick comment regarding the blind system on omaha play money tables.
Noticed there was a sudden increase to 500 k 1mill blinds. I would have thought that a more modest rise to 500/1000 would be more appropriate. Cheers for any feedback,

and it turns out to be CarbonPoker! I'm an existing poker.com player so why do I get CarbonPoker from this link???

I can think of one reason to have an account a 2 merge skins. I used to play at *******, then they opted out of the daily free rolls. So I started playing on carbon. I still go to ****** for the tournaments they have that carbon doesn't.
