View Full Version : Scheduled Software Redeploy Tues 28 Aug
We would like to advise that on Tuesday 28 August"07 @ 02:00 (server time) we will require 20 mins downtime for a scheduled redeploy.
After the redeploy is completed the tournament schedule will return to normal.
We apologize for any inconvenience during this time and thank you for your patience.

Interesting, I`m still showing 65 and I can`t see any players at a table or in a tourney.
Plus, everytime I load up the software I`m getting this message. The software loads after I hit cancel.

wow i have sign out and back in 4 times and i only see 65 people online....and in the lobby for registration i see no one registered in any games...
i still see 65 online and jan sees 1247....uhmmmmm

This has been happening to me since the the original release of version 4.1 a month ago. I contacted support and they told me to remove and re-install program. I did that but I still get the same message every time I load. I just hit continue and it loads.
P.S. I haven't made a dime since.....good luck :)

I elected not to test the 4.1 beta when it was offered a few months ago because I don't like buggy software on my computer. I didn't and don't want to beta test software.
But guess what.....guess I don't have any choice :)

I have to ask this!!!
Has poker.com been hacked or do you have a major bug in program, that make it run incredible slow, even if u close down a game or write messages in chat, try to put a smiley up, everything is slow.
Also the info from poker.com is slow.
DO SOMETHING FAST AND DO INFO PEOPLE ABOUT IT; OR THEY SIMPLY JUST LEAVE.

Well guys...
I must say, maybe poker.com won't care cause I'm not exactly a high roller, but I will say that if this problem isn't fixed by tomorrow, I as well will be leaving and exploring other options.
I want to be able to come home and relax to some online poker. It's bad enough dealing with bad beats (but hey that's poker, I understand...) but when you got bad beats topped with not being able to even see the beat till it's over and 2 hands have passed since you've even seen a single thing move...well that's a problem.
Good luck fixing the problem guys, I'm not trying to be a jerk or act fast on anything here but I just can't tolerate this...it's been well over 24 hours...you've had more than ample time to fix the problem...and I truly feel we are being left in the dark about this situation...I know we've been told that it's being worked on, but when you're an open community such as is advertised as to why Poker.com is better than ABC Poker or 123 poker, then we should be constantly being updated as to what is going on with our game...Not just a post in the morning saying "Sorry, we tried and still are trying..."

there are plenty of other poker sites available then to deal with this, I can't even connect to the poker rooms now.
This is my last time playing, I assume they will steal my money, they've already stole a tournament or two from me by automatically kicking me off and sitting me out and folding my cards and not letting me sit in until half my chips were gone

Again with you ridiculous posts. THEY WILL NOT STEAL YOUR MONEY!!! why would a company go into all the trouble to take you money that way if there is much easier ways to go about doing that and why specifically you. They dont need to take peoples money to make money there getting it by the rake they have people pay. Ive been sat out in tourneys too but i understand its the software and not the people who are in charge of this site. Just explain everything to support and im sure if they see it as you need to be refunded they im sure you will get refunded. Now go read more on posts and learn to soak everything in so it makes sense before you make another post. Stop flooding the boards with you sillyness.

I don't wanna be pushy or anything,but I still don't see the 9:30 am 500 guaranteed or the 10:30 am 500 guaranteed? I understand if you want to make sure the site is stable before you add them back on. Those 2 are my favorite tournies of the day. I will be re-scheduling all tourneys, but I am waiting to make sure we don't experience any further issues which would require me to close them down again....

Hi Mistryl I found another bug.. this time in HORSE. It's a little difficult to explain but basically if the player bringing in is put all in and I try to complete I get a pop-up error message saying the amount I want to bet is too high and please bet a lower amount. The trouble is that all the buttons disappear and I can't bet at all and end up being timed out. Happened to me twice today in 2 different tournies. hate to give you another problem to deal with but it's frustrating not being able to push a strong hand , actually not being able to play it at all is even more frustrating lol.

Hey there my computer just keeps redownloading the client.exe file then restarting poker.exe then redownloads the client.exe again, wash rinse repeat...this has been ongoing since the last patch. any way to fix this besides uninstalling poker then reinstalling as i am using dialup :(
