First of all I must explain to U all what difficulties I've been through to win a double crown (FTL + LoN). Regarding FTL and Blind Bullies team - It was nightmare. Every single player was "problematic" at least...
First, this kid YOUNGSTER44 was impossible to control. He was always late for league games and he was never here when he was needed (chasing skirts all day long - I can understand that - when U R teenager UR testosterone level is high). Tnx God he saw me as father figure so he accepted me as his poker mentor. We made great progress during the season (for the last game he was only 5 minutes late). I see bright future for this kid, and I hope he will remember me when he wins his 1st bracelet (10%.. I was always modest).
Then, Feck4Cards (carbon nick Mad4Cows) have 2 sole purposes in her poker.com "life" 1. To argue whole day long on forum with Nela114, and 2. To collect as much accolades as possible (39 so far - I can bet that poker.com staff isnt aware that some of those accolades even exist). Many of U would say: "Great, if she have so many accolades - she must be great player.".. WRONG.. look at the Egon and Mada - they have also a lot of accolades - does that make them good players? (of course not). Also, problem with her was her big mouth (she always talk back at the almighty captain), so after a few conversations with her (some spanking here and there...) she is very obedient now. I even negotiate with my good friend Borat Sagdiyev to find a suitable Kazakhstani husband for her, so she could devote herself more to the team.
My 3rd problem was that Canadian guy. As u probably know, they (canadians) dont speak English at all. So, because we need to communicate it was my holly captains duty to learn "Canadian" language. First, there wasnt a single hit on google when I search for "Canadian language" and no single book in any Serbian library at this subject (I think there is some Canadian conspiracy about keeping their language in secrecy). This small problem didnt discouraged me at all. I decided to learn one of universal languages, and my choice was Esperanto. And...after a few days of intensive studying I now speak Esperanto like I'm born there (I must brag a little). Second option was Latin language, but I choose Esperanto... I mean... What is use of Latin? Like Im gonna ever visit Latin America? no way....
Next problem was this Rookie player BlindMouse. This was his 1st season and poor guy was scared of all these sharks in FTL, and for things to be worse, at beginning, he didnt know all the rules of poker. I offered to help him with poker rules, so usual conversation would be something like this:
BM: Jazz, what is stronger str8 or flush?
Jazz: Im not sure...
BM: Jazz, How many cards I can use in omaha?
Jazz: Im not sure...
BM: Jazz, What is best hand in Razz?
Jazz: Im not sure...
BM: Jazz, Am I annoying to U with all these questions?
Jazz: Of Course not Mousey, U must ask, or how else U could learn all these complicated rules?
And, I must admit.. Im great tutor - he finished 2nd in FTL in individual rankings.
Many of U would probably ask: "If it is so hard with BB, why didnt u tried with some other team?". I did. I Tried to Join SA but they refused me with explanation: "Not Donk enough - try harder!". :(. Then I tried with Vicious Vixens - they refused me without explanation (still hurts)...
And if U think that being captain for BB is hard, u should try to be captain of Team Serbia in LoN. This was even harder (they are making movie abut this, title - MI4). Being captain for 4 Serbian players is pure horror (If I was normal, I would gone mad).
So question is: Did Jazzer (me) deserved to be a "captain of year"?:D
