Wow -- Made a side bet with bplusu that I would last longer in the tourny than him. Ofcourse this was after I started some bad mouth with him, which sometimes I do just to keep from getting board cause I fold so many hands (I know some will get a laugh out of that one). Anyways, after a table change and about 10 minutes. BAMB -- He paid up -- I checked the leaderboard and he was out. Just thought I would let people know - A MAN OF HIS WORD STILL LIVES.

I like to believe that I would but I have never lost a side bet to test myself. The only thing close would be a while back someone ask my thoughts about loaning a person some money (whom we both knew but I had more experience with the guy), I told her if the guy didnt pay her back, that I would. Guess what happened. He didnt pay, I did! I like to think that I am a man of my word as my grandpapy told me when I was a very young yard ape, that the only thing a man really owned was his WORD, if your word is no good - then you are no good

some people have flat out made bets about who would last longer of course i always do and none pays up. i never know if they're serious because they certainly didnt seem like "serious" competition lol.

Bless all the men out there that possess these qualities - you're worth more than you probably realize :) You could have all the money in the world and still not be an upstanding man -- Another thing that money can't buy.
