The first day of school is today!:win: Finally,after more than 2 months of kids wanted to do things,go places,phone ringing every 2 minutes when they were at friends houses,and fighting,peace and quiet has returned!:win:
although I will miss them after a couple days.:(:wave:

Not something that ever meant anything to me til recently. The li'l brats are off to school and there shall be peace in the kingdom!!!

Cost me a fortune today grrr. Went to "Big Boys School" this morning to collect his timetable & planner only to find out that he now needed school polo shirt for PE, Navy blue footie sox, Navy joggers, footie boots & trainers, socks for PE, aaaarghhhh here was me thinking I had everything:mad: Roll on 2moro for 1st day of peace woohoo:D

Cost me a fortune today grrr. Went to "Big Boys School" this morning to collect his timetable & planner only to find out that he now needed school polo shirt for PE, Navy blue footie sox, Navy joggers, footie boots & trainers, socks for PE, aaaarghhhh here was me thinking I had everything:mad: Roll on 2moro for 1st day of peace woohoo:D
the cost of supplies alone is ridiculous (binders,notebooks,paper,pens,pencils,colored pencils,scientific calculator,backpack,lunchbox) spent almost $200.00 just on that stuff alone...not including all the new clothes.:beaten: It's a good thing some churches around here gave away school supplies for the less fortunate. All the school taxes we pay u would think the school would supply all the necessities.:rolleyes:

:mad: Rundown of sons first week at High School...
Thurs - lost trainers, cost £30 new pr for Friday PE day, "fell" in mud with
brand new sparkly white school shirt (still stained, persil sux)
Friday - burst school shoes:rolleyes: £35 over the weekend for new pr
Monday - lost school jacket (unlocated as yet), fell in mud again & wrecked other school shirt
Tuesday - completely burst school-bag, cost £15 for another
Wednesday - dread to think whats gonna happen today:beaten::beaten:

Wassup Kimmiejo!
I agree about this being the best time of year. I do not have kids to usher off to the bus, but it is a special time of year for me too. It is the month of my birth, and it marks the end of the hot, dreary days of summer, and begins the crisp, temperate air of autumn nights. If I had a years full of nothing September's, I would not be upset in the slightests!
