The 50 dollars I spent isnt as bad since I knew I was going to lose it eventually or not so fast. I never expected to only win money. But the ppl who think they play poker by raising that have aces...that just happen to
win b/c its the "right" move is such a **** way of playing. For those who say "I only play hands I can win".....not here. The hands you win, you win b/c your on some sort of stupid place or time that seems to hit when you make the ordinary strategic move. Either that, or the program picks ppl to win hands at random given the hands are pre-dealt, and I somehow ****ed off the program by enjoying the game and didnt take it out to dinner first.

Hi again!!! For me it seems to be very normal... Well, I am definitely not the best player, but I have won some. ;) It took me very long time to figure out this ****ing game! I can say, some days are just **** while other are very good. I know only the routines for online game and nothing about live game. I guess live game does not come far from online game... the only thing which is a bit different is the shuffling, because there are a person shuffling and dealing the cards when it is live. At same time I have seen videos from live game with exactly the same winnings and bad beats as in online game. What I am trying to say is that, somehow it is not that different.

The different thing is you cannot see your opponent. It is harder to read what he/she has and if he/she is bluffing or not and I can say it took me a very long time before I could read cards.. hahah.. still cannot but I am getting better with the time.


I will give you a hint, which works for me... other might have better.

Look for money, how and what do they bet... and how many callers do you have. Is there a possibility that someone has better hand than you on the flop, turn or river?

Ok, all raises pre-flop are not winning hands...it can be as well at clean up to reduce the numbers for callers, to make the chance bigger to take home the pot. It can also be a big fat bluff.... :eek:


I use to think like this:

My hand vs community cards vs opponents hand = my chances to win the pot.

I guess, this makes me to a fish. :D :wave:



50 dollar is very little money to play with... I think 100 dollar at least. If you read about bankroll management it is saying you should only use 1% of your bankroll when you are playing. It is also important to be on the right level/stake.



When it comes to log in thing... this forum is on time. If you are inactive for X min, you have to log in again... that means if you are writing a post and it takes too long time you need to log in again. It is normal... I guess we will get a better forum soon. :D

K, since you replied I take it you know what Im talking about. Which makes what you said pretty much.....disreguarded. Why would you play at a place where it basically chance when it comes to your hand being played by someone that is present. If I have an Ace and a King and lose the first 3 times I have it, and somone else turns around and wins with them and continues......its not the cards or the player. if the community cards are all **** cards except the river and I lose to somoene that bet everything they had on a 2/3 suit.....thats a guess on just being right whether or carbon is your type of poker place.

.........which leads me to believe why its has 3,000 players at one time. Then again I wouldnt mind arguing with one of the ppl who won one of the
1K trounies or something. But the other half of the ppl playing here just play and either put up with it or are to dumb to realize they cant play poker.

I don't want to go into how to calculate odds and outs,.. but logically there are 16 combinations of AK and you cannot win them all.

I guess you need to read more about odds and outs to understand it..

Remember, there would be no poker if only AA or KK would win, then it should be no meaning with poker. AK does not always win, they can be easy crushed, I can crush AK with 23 or any 2 cards... I only need to hit one cards and AK are crushed. Just because you play AK you are not safe. There are some players who does not respect raises. Any suited hand will do for some.

Just have a look on the category "On tilt" and LTUflawless bad beats.


Some know how to play others don't. Some are very lucky while others not... some pray and some do not. There is a big mix here!

Just expect anything!

so you win overall 67 times out of 100 times. but that does not mean when this 67 will come. you can loose also 10 in a row. but if you play over a longer time you will reach for sure this 67-37%.

and i also think that your 50$ are too less to make a relaible statement about it. in addition would be intresting which limits or toruneys you played. if you played 2/4cent it is not worth to talk about it. because the most people are sitting there playing for their last cents of their bankroll. and just make a chase ;)
