Was anyone else watching the WSOP this week when the Russian kid pushed a huge stack out into the table, held it there for about 30 seconds, then pulled it back and bet half of it? The announcer and I agree that he should have been made to bet the entire stack. The floor was called and the half bet was allowed to stand. The player next to him argued thus: "So if I push my whole stack out with my hands on it, look around for the reaction, then pull it back and bet less, it's OK?" The floorman said no that wouldn't be ok, but still let the Russian bet stand. What do you all think?

bad move... fair is fair... his all in should have remained...PERIOD. No other person should be disqualified at this point if they do the same.

at the casino where i go, if ur chips cross the line, ur in.. simple as that.. even if ur cards are over the line and ur still in, it is deemed as a fold.. the line has very strict rules..

Bad call by floorman :beaten: I don't give a damn if he still had his hands on the stack, he was AI !!!!!!!!!!!! I would bet my last dollar he knew exactly what he was doing; old live play trick to watch responses of the players.

Actually I had this happen once to me when playing live, this and an issue with a string bet. Both times I called the floorman over and both times he agreed with me and the AI stood as well as the string bet he tried to pull.

once your chips cross the line, they are part of the pot. Hope the floor guy gets demoted to dishwasher.

I was playing live a couple of days ago, everybody dealing thier turn, the dealer threw the flop on top of his whole cards, the guy across the table threw a fit saying, the flop touching the hole cards made the dealers hand dead, they ruled it wasn't, what is the real rule, hate playing poker with a bunch of drunks anyway, lol live and learn i guess LMAO!

I would think the problem would be with the burn card and much pile more so than the flop cards.
