Hey all. Thought it was time to pass my workload on a bit;) So I have $25 awaiting for the person who tells me the most interesting poker story.
The winning story will be posted on the blog & the cash to your account.
A few pointers...

The more interesting the better.
Outrageous over the top is more interesting.
If I think you are exaggerating I will slap you, and disregard your submission.
Funny is interesting.
Keep it short. but not too short. 100-200 words is best.
Each person has one shot.

During Sunday Football game here in the States, I'm playing a Bounty Tourney and doing OK. My team runs back a kick off for a Touchdown. A friend calls to bust me on that and at the same time, I'm on the button. I draw :2d::2c: and go ahead and pay the BB as does the remaining five players. No raises .................................................. ...............

Phone call gets way too funny to end and then :Ac::Kh::Jc:flops. Not paying attention to the game because of the conversation, four guys go All-in !!!!!! Laughing at a statement by my friend on the phone, I drag over to hit fold and ACCIDENTLY hit CALL. DOH !!!!

Turn :2h: River :2s: .............. OMG !!!!!!! LOL ! TWO BS touchdowns in a row !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Too funny ! Obv, kept TALKING ! :win:

My husband and I went to Foxwoods last year for our anniversary. They had a ladies only tournament.$100.00 buy in.I was playing for a while. Not getting alot of hands and losing my chips slowly.On the Big Blind I get dealt :Ts::7s:. No one raises preflop so I just check. Flop comes :8s::9s: and i forget what the other card was.Woohoo! Open ended straight flush draw! Small blind checks,I check, Another lady makes a pretty small bet so I move all in. She calls and shows :As::Ks: :eek:Now Im hoping to hit my Straight or straight flush.Any other spade and Im out. The turn comes....It's the :Js:..yesssssss...Straight flush! Everyone was cheering and clapping.Obv. the river didn't matter as she couldn't beat me.But that was the best feeling I have ever had in a poker game. It was actually the first time I had played a poker tournament in a huge casino...or any casino for that matter. I ended up making it to 7th place. It only payed top 5 :(. But I will always remember my hubby and I's 11th anniversary. Oh,The hotel room with a jacuzzi and the limo rides to and from the casino were ok too.:D:win::win::7s::8s::9s::Ts::Js:
Let me just add....That night my husband took me to dinner to Cedars...a very nice restaurant in Foxwoods.We were all dressed up in nice clothes...he was in a suit and tie..and I was in a nice pant suit. Well...He had been drinking and gambling all day so by the time we got to dinner he was ummm..trashed.He decided to order crab legs.Ya know how they give you a little dish of melted butter?..well he was so drunk he couldn't get them damn crab legs open...somehow as he was cracking the crablegs he knocked the melted butter off his plate onto his suit and tie. He was ****ed off the rest of the night. I was laughing at him but he didnt think it was funny.

This one happened about 2 weeks ago. I had just deposited $320 on Carbon and managed to build it up to $592 within 2-3 days, before this happened.
I was watching the high stakes guys of the site play a little 2000NL. catum, SuperOdman, and ilikebiggirls were sitting at the table. Obviosly these players are all very good and it would be stupid for me to play them...

Well a few hands in watching them. One of them bluffed away $2,000 (I think it was cantum, but not 100% sure) I just had to sit in at the table to call him a donk. :D So I sit in and click sit out the second I join. Too late though I was big blind for $20 with my whole bankroll sitting down at the table :eek:

I get dealt :Kd:, :Tc: And it folds around to the small blind (SuperOdman) and he raises it to $60. Now I know the smart/sane thing to do here would be just fold and cut my losses. However I am not that smart sometimes. LOL
I had a suspicion SuperOdman was just trying to take advantage of a shortstack, so I call $40 more :beaten:

FLOP: :6c:, :9d:, :Kc: So a decent flop for me. SuperOdman checks to me and I bet $120 into the $140 pot. He calls :eek:

TURN: :8s: SuperOdman checks to me again. I shove ALL IN for the rest of my bankroll $400. Doh! SuperOdman FOLDS! W00t! W00t! The Sit out function worked before I was the Small blind luckily. Here is a pic of the hand

April 22nd 2008. First live MMT game. Florida at the Hard Rock Casino in Frt. Lauderdale.

After a long hard winter with many change's going on, and saving my Loonie's and Toonie's($1 and $2 dollar canadian coins) for my flight. I visited a long time site buddy Racefan.

Unbenounced to me, a gift had been sent to Racefan via the net; from two of my other buddy's tba123 & Marjan77. Instuctions were make sure i have a good time.

Race and snoggler and TheKittyKat1 head off to casino. Where Racefan and Snoggler concider what to play. We wind up registering for $150 buy in MMT(both our first live MTT) 249 start the tourney. With top 23 postions paying.

What i found most interesting, is in my 3yrs+ playing online here on pdc/carbon was; seemed everyone at the 2 tables i was at, all seemed to play resembling most the players here online. Which made it possible for me to read them much easier. And enabled me to gain 12k in chips before i moved. Can not say there was any real killer cards or hands seen all game. But was the mistake of the first dealer:beaten: , a hand that had to be thrown in, good thing too. Dealer delt the hand only to find he delt one extra card to small blind, and would you believe he delt him AAA, 4 spaces nothing cards and then three preceding hands (to might right) 66 myself 88 and to my left 99. I know the three small pairs were reaching for chips, that is just before dealer call hand in and showed his mistake.

A 10 hearts is one of my favorite sets to start, but took me out 39th. Seems putting 3 9 off suit, small stack in BB was wrong, as he flopped a boat:rolleyes:. Racefan later busted with 99 in 27th seat. No fan fair no, but a game well enjoyed for a first live event. ( Not bad placing either for a Canadain lumberjack and a American Farmer boy)

Was playing the $300 GTD a few years back and was down to HU. Both of us had pretty even stacks and blinds were big. Get dealt AK in the BB and other guy raised big so I called. Flop comes Q K 4. Other guy bets big, I raise, he All-ins so I call. He had me covered by a few thousand and flips over QQ. I said sh1t, and went to grab a bud to ease my pain. I look down to grab it and when I look up i see that I caught runner runner J 10. WOOHOO!!! I got so excited, I jumped outta my seat and ended up knocking over my bong and shattering it. This cause bong water to short out my keyboard and spill all over the carpet. DAMN IT!! Old lady was p1ssed.

Game winnings - $90

New bong - $130
New Keyboard - $40
Carpet cleaner - $6

Net loss - $86

i have been playing here for about 2 yrs now and trying to win a ribbon or trophy,i cant play alot of high stake tournies till i win something big enough to do tht ,so i played the 3500 guar two weeks ago and i was doing great didnt rebuy but i did add on at break well anyway i was in 5th place there were 13 left and i got aa in my small blind it comes to me and there are three tht limped in so i raised 4x blind everyone folded except the chipleader he went all in so i think hell yea i have a great chance to dbl up here and go into 2nd so i call...he has aa also and the flop comes out three clubs and turn a diamond and river .....club he had the ace clubs so i went out 13th it paid 10 :( my chance to win a big one and boom aa destroys my dream :( i am still trying to win my trophy or ribbon.. but aa makes me sick now lol :)

I was playing a sng bounty with an undercover nick and I ended up at a table where at least 5 of the players knew each other. I manage to get one guy out to begin with. There was one guy who was very lucky and kicked at least 5 players out from that bounty sng. It was a 10 handed table.

Sometime I just can't shut up. When this lucky guy had a stack on 7k I just said: "It is going to be a tough job for me when me and buddy is head up". Everyone at the table were laughing at my comment. I was saying that just as a joke. My stack was about 2,5 almost the whole time. I didn't think I was going to get into money, because I have been running good with this nick for a while. I thought I was going to be out just before money.

This buddy guy was working good, he took out one by one. Finally we were 3 players left - me, buddy and another girl. This girl said to buddy who just started to make some mistakes, because I was pushing a little. This girl asked buddy what he was doing and that he with a big stack should take me out. The hand after she has said that she was out.

What can I say? There I was heads up with buddy... and no one believed me. :rolleyes: :D

It does not end there.. I actually kicked him out on the 2nd spot! I won it!!! :win: As my last comment I had to say: Don't push your luck too much! :D

Next hand, the dealer deals me :Ad: :Js: ....someone raises pre flop, I call....we were 3 players left in the game.
flop comes :As: :Jc: :Kc:...I check, player 1 checks, player 2 Bets 30$, I call, player 1 folds.
Turn comes :Kd: ...I check (I could barely hide my joy), player 2 bets 50$, I go all in, he calls (He had few $ less than me, something around 170 - 180$)
He shows his Cards to be :Kh: :Jd:.
(In such a case, only an Ace would save me) Unluckily, A Jack ( :Jh: ) was opened on the River, so now I had :Ad: :As: :Js: :Jc: :Jh: (Jack's full of Aces)
and he had :Kc: :Kh: :Kd: :Jc: :Jd: (King's full of Jacks) in this situation, he is the one who is supposed to win.
Did he? nope....LOOOL!! as soon as the last Jack opened on the River He was like "****!!! NOWAY!! U lucky *******!"

Anyways...I had doubts about my hand, so I come home that night, and make a Google search about it, then realize he was supposed to win the hand, but didn't say anythings to him, and kept it for myself.

A year later (that was around a month ago) I meet the same person again at a poker tournament table, He comes to me and say "You *******, You owe me 900$!, remember that game we play a year ago, when u knocked me out with ur hand? I then realized mine was actually the winning hand"

So we both laughed about it, I told him the full story...and kept the money for myself :P

Next round 4th to act he limps 8c9c, the cutoff makes it 50 with AcKh, he smooth calls and flops a nice hand...QcJc10c...he leads out 80, villian makes it 280, buddy smooth calls again.
