they dont fight for our (american) freedom they fight for others freedom.... wanna fight for our freedom line our soldiers on our lines in our country and stop the ppl coming in... thats protecting our freedom...im glad we have our army and glad they protect us... but are they really protecting us nope.. only if they stay in our country to keep all terrorist out.. thats protecting OUR freedom

are u stupid? if u dont know what you are talking about dont open your mouth! my grandfather gave his life for this country and everyone who lives here! most of my family served in the military, a few died, a few got hurt, and they all did it for us! your disrespectful! next time just keep your mouth shut!

well *** you cause i do know what im talking about as most if not all of my fam has served your just ignorant to think that.. i said nothin bad of our army..just said if they really want to fight for OUR freedom keep our troops here in OUR country on OUR borders THATS PROTECTING OUR FREEDOM... nobody comes here to fight they are to scared.. OUR country is great but as for fighting for OUR FREEDOM they are not!!!!!!!!!!!
Get with it and learn a thing or two.. FREEDOM is for OUR people not the world time to quit playing big brother cause all others are scared

as an outsider, may i ask yous to take a time out.. this is a thread to honour fallen heros and loved ones.. not to turn in to a political point scoring match. have a little more respect.

I am almost speechless... :eek::eek: Have you never heard of WWI and WWII? Do you think the US would even exist in it's present form if we had continued to 'stay home'? :confused:

and when was that.... that day is gone that fight is over and some of that was a GRANTED fight... NOT THE 1 we are in now...get some since to ya.. and yes alot of my fam died in those wars and i am proud of what they did .. but the NEW world isnt like that...

i'm sorry if i offended anyone!! the insensitivy, ignorance and disrespect that was posted as a reply to my post upset me to a point i felt i had to reply! lets turn this thred back around to where it started and give thanks and support to are vets.

Whether you agree with his sentiments or not, he did not disrespect the soldiers, living, wounded or dead.
Saying the soldiers should be here instead of fighting to free another country isn't a viewpoint I agree with either, but a difference of opinion is not a reason to insult someone.
