Hi, I have a lot of problems dealing with 8+ players table, no matter if its a tournament or ring game. Although I do well in short handed games (and when i don't I know exactly what I could have done better), I have no idea how to adjust my play in big tables..

Anyone have a tip they could share?

Thanks!! :crown:

As ropndonkies said patience... of course.

Maybe you need to think about what kind of player you are and what kind of cards you play. When you have figured that out.... I mean your own playing style at tables with less than 9 players. Then you could try to make some change on tables with more player.

It is also about what players you are up against.

Start to think about your own game...
and then look at others. What card and how....

One thing which has improved my games is to check hand history and analyse that... and of course read about the game, be inspired, watch when others are playing - how and why do they do things.

Good luck at the tables.

you're prolly playing too loose for full ring games

but meh unless you play tournaments or donk n goes, i'd stick with the 6max cash games if i were you

Thanks all for the tips.

I thought about sticking with 6-max games, but most good tournaments or ring games are for 10 players so I thought I should start improving now that I'm a begginer :)

Play 6 in the cash games as you do well there & allow winnings there to buy into the tournies to get a feel for the larger table. The more you are familiar the easier it will be to adjust your game. Make notes too when something sticks out about a player. If you hang out here enough and get into the games you will see a lot of familiar faces in the tournies & the notes you keep will allow you an advantage (watch that river :beaten: I don't think there is a note that will save you at that point, lol) until you are able to recognize names.

The games become a lot of fun once you know some people in there playing :)

Good Luck

min of 4 tables 9 handed should allow you to tighten up and still not be bored playing
