Friends List ~ Buddy System

Is there possibly something going crazy with the Friends List? Last night I noticed a yellow guy on a person who has never even as much as said Boo. I thought maybe he was looking to see if I had other accolades and possibly bumped the request friend by mistake. Left it yellow and thought a legit Buddy Requester would at least say hello, nice hand, you donk ~ something. never a word said.

Tonight I think I have an additional 6 requests lit up. Out of the 7 I recognize all the names as I see them in rings games, but only one of the people has every said anything to me. Have been playing the ring games recently for the promo.

I am thinking there is a glitch in the system, has anyone heard anything?

If I would decline does it let the person know I have declined or does it just stay yellow and that person is unaware. I am all for being buddies ~ but I like to be buddies with someone who has at least said hello or urinate off :beaten:

Well I sure hope they aren't popping up because of poor play ~ I would die :eek: I do think because of the number of them though there has to be something going on.

There are a few running around adding ppl both via the forum & tables, I just reject them:D:P

Usually its to watch you to see how much money you have, then follow it with a PM or chase u about asking for money to which then you report them:beaten:

I aint sure if it says "refused", I know that if u delete someone it tells them u aint their friend anymore lol

I got a few mysterious "buddies" on my list too... I use to let the yellow guy
be in the list for a while,.... at least until I ran into him/her on the table, if I
haven't already been playing against him/her.

I must say, I like the previous buddy/tag list better. I cannot see the reason
with this new one where you have to accept a request. I mean, if some one
want me.... they find me somewhere sometime. As I find my objects. :D :wave:

It could be cool if they could develop this buddy list.... to something we
could have use of. Like being able to send private messages to each other.

Timely question Dori! I've had two new yellow buddy "requests" recently. The names are very similar to forum names, but both people were on tables I were playing but never said hi.

Of course, I have still have two requests out to buddies who never seem to come around... (hint, hint, Leafy and Jono!)

I've left the buddy requests until I see them again at my table. With all the different skins, I don't want to reject someone I know...

I get them all the time from people I do not know or talk with. In those cases I do not accept them. My list is cluttered enough!

I didn't do anything figured if I saw them at the table I would decide from that point. Now today I only have two lit up. Not sure though if the other person has to be online to show yellow man or if once they request yellow remains until accepted or denied. If they show continually until dealt with either it was a glitch (happened right after server update/ maintenance) or people decided they didn't want to be my friend :beaten:.

Thank you ~ My list is a mess. They changed everything while I was helping my Grandma & a came back to new fangled stuff and I have never taken the time to sort it.

Once ignored is that permanent?
Does the person know I have selected ignored them? In this case I don't care because whomever has gotten that account has done the dirty ~ but just curious if it was someone I didn't know what they would see on their end and if a person could ignore for a moment and then un~ignore at a later time?

I guess I need to get in there and clean it up a bit and figure it out. As it is right now I don't really use it much because its such a mess.

i never used the friends list but i had thought about marking people i had a good read on so that i could find them playing.
