Avatars?

How do you change the avatars when you post on the forum? I know we get a selection of flags or symbols like Jacks to use under the User CP option. But when do you get to upload your own avatar to use in the forum?

I just read under Forum Rules and Admin - "Custom Avatars" - that you need 100 posts to be able to upload your own avatar and if I remember right 25 posts to choose one from a list.
