A majority of the stuff is also in the Blog:) or main site page ;) Does it have something to do with the Jan promo?

maybe check your emails spam section, as it was sent out to all the members, and I usually find mine in the spam section every month, no matter how hard I try and filter it back to my inbox... it always comes spam.

I don't get a newsletter either, that I am aware of. I do get one from another merge client, but not one from here.

I do get Promo letters, but no news letters. I got a bunch of them from other merge sites, but non from PDC or Carbon.

I got no junk filter on.

I get a newsletter every now and again. I got December's one yesterday. The thing that caught my eye was the switch from comp points to VIP points which will award tokens for tournament entries...

Well, I was talking the the live support about this newsletter, I thought I
might had made an option about not wanting to have news and stuff from
carbon and PDC, when I signed up on it.

I have got some promo-letters, but never a newsletter and the latest I got
in my Player admin is from August this year! :(

I thought I should ask...

I got this as an answer from the live support:

CS Angelica: You can rely on the news in your software, or in the news
archive, the newsletter doesn't seems to be updated at this moment.


I just say: HUH! :confused:

How come some of the people get it and other don't. I told her to send the
request to the right department and I did also mention that info about this
letter was here in the forum. Hopefully there will be action soon.... :D

i just looked at it! It is full of thier promo stuff but at the bottom it has a player profile of a player (this week LTU) and one of the programmers for the site. I think i attached it

I was smart, I found the secret newsletter... :D I had to find the address on my own hand. It was not public. :P

A tip! Go to "player admin" and "Newsletter archive" and click on any of the letters for 2008.

Look at the address for the newsletter and change the numbers to 1208.html

I had a conversation with the support regarding this. The weird thing is that
this newsletter should arrived buy news@.... .com . Same address they use
when they send out the promo info. Support thought I had some junk/spam
filter on, which I haven't what I know about. They told me that they had just
done a small adjustment in my account. Probably I will get January's
newsletter. :D

I never receive them either. I also talked with support and they said I should get them. I do not have any filters on either. Hopefully they can get the bugs worked out.

I have been a member for a couple of years now, and I have NEVER received a newsletter. As I was e-mailing back and forth a couple of months back, I was told it must be going to my spam folder (which by the way, I check daily, nothing there from site). Hmmm....I can read the e-mails they are sending me, but the newsletter is going to the spam folder??? When I told them this, they said everyone gets one. Guess that means I am a nobody.:( If anyone knows how I can get one e-mailed to me monthly, please let me know. Thanks.

Nah I would say given the extra work they have at the mo, maybe within the next few weeks when they have time I guess. Might be sooner or later. You can also read the blog which is sometimes amusing with the stories etc there too:)

Click on User CP on the top left corner of this page and when that opens click on "Edit Option" in the list.

When that page opens look in the "Messaging & Notification" area and put a check mark in the box that says "Receive Email from Administrators"

Then go to the bottom of the page and click on "Save Changes"
