Does anyone else have problems with Adobe Flash locking up the software?
My games keep on grinding to a halt and I get the message 'A script in this movie is causing Adobe Flash Player 9 to run slowly. If it continues to run your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script?'
It messes up the software (and the rest of my computer) and the only fix is to close Carbon down and relaunch. It seems to be a problem linked to the displays in the lobby plugging the Bad Beat jackpot and Caribbean stud.
Support said I should uninstall and reinstall Flash and this should clear it up but it made no difference. Any ideas how I might get rid of this pesky problem?

I still have the same problem with that... I reinstalled Flash and still have it doing same it...
Thing is it only does it with the site and the merge...

Support also suggested I uninstall the Carbon software, download it again from the Carbon website and reinstall. But I'm a bit wary of doing this because I don't want to lose access to Carbon completely and that might be what happens...

I've been having the same problem with the same message for a long time now (maybe a year). The only merge site I run is Carbon Poker.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled both Flash and Carbon several times and it doesn't help.

All you can do is close the client and restart it again.

Good Luck :)

OK. I'll just have to shut down and start again. But it doesn't seem a very satisfactory solution. I'll lose out on 4-5 minutes in games. Surely, Carbon can offer the option to disable the animations in the lobby which seem to be causing the problems?

You can disable the animation ... go to
main lobby click on settings at bottom... you will be able to disable it in the performance area but it is still doing it's thou...
