In September of 2005 I had done really well for myself - playing both poker and blackjack at the casino - I had set a game plan for myself and it worked. A buddy and myself, we had just won a pretty good chunk of change at the casino playing at the casino - and sure enough hosts were all over us -and put us up not for just one night...but for a month! A trap? A nice incentive? Most likely well thought out strategic plan developed by the casino to "somehow" how win all it's money back and then some. And so, knowing we could easily lose all of what we had won within a few hours playing blackjack - one of us would play poker and the other blackjack and we would set a limit as to what we could lose. I chose to focus on poker while my buddy continued with the blackjack. Brought up in a poolroom (literally) I had experience with players trying to get under your skin and basically being jerks. Everyday I would come in with $300..buy $100 in chips (don't know why but the extra $200 in my pocket is like a security blanket to me) and walk out with an extra $1000 - that was my magic number. One thousand. Lose $100 or win a thousand. Out of 30 days of the month - I came out on top with an extra $1000 for 20 of them. My buddy had also done well playing blackjack and believe it or not, the casino put us up for another month...and so...without fail we continued on...after putting us up yet for another month..we finally went home. Broke.......

LOL....no...we won...LARGE!

I'm pretty sure you can't win at blackjack without counting.

8 decks in shoe, shuffled every hand :beaten: I learned to stay away from it especially when they took away the "SURRENDER" button about 2 years ago  When the surrender button was there, you could make a few bucks, and when they apparently realized that it was probably not in "their" interest, it was taken out
