I dont know how I feel about folding it....I mean he could of had AQ and been scared of the flush coming on the river. Since he raised under the gun I put him on a big hand. There was another player who called his bet preflop and the preflop raiser only bet 120 after the flop which made me believe had had AK or a set since it seemed like he wanted to build the pot now if he put me on the flush draw then it was the right move to go all in on the turn b/c most people will call there with the Q high flush.

I call here. I think he wanted you to pay for fishing hoping you only had one club.

I even showed at the end and he didnt. I mean if someone laid that down to me and I only had the Ace I'm gonna show them to make them look like an ass lol. Also every hand he's been all in on he's had the nuts. I'll let you know in a couple of minutes how this sit n go plays out.

Tough one - Did he hit the st48 on the turn and shoved to protect from you hitting the flush on the river, perhaps. But with your hand, I call there too.

I couldnt put him on the straight b/c he raised under the gun and that doesnt usually happen with QJ. It was still a 9 handed game when he raised under the gun by the way. I could only beat one hand in my mind and that was AQ but there were a couple of hands that I couldnt beat like 1010,KK,AK. Also if he hit the straight on the turn it means he flopped it remember the board paired on the turn.

I think he had you beat with his pkt TT and hoped you would call with your flush. I would have called also but at the same time I would have been putting on my jacket and looking for the front door.

Possible, he could of had KK and hoped I hit the flush or I had the Ace in which case both are hands that would call his all in bet.

he had 1010

lol we'll never know he could have had KK, AA, AK or AT also any of which are winners. If MASKOAA went on to cash in the sng then it was a good fold and if he didn't cash he might have well just called the hand :)

he wanted to build the pot on flop then push u off on turn???

with your line on this hand,, flat call pre then,ck/call flop, ck turn
--------------------------------------------------------------------
IMO if he is a decent player at all ...call..he never has AK,KK,TT,AT
any of those hands are gonna be value bet or checked not shoved on turn
i think this is AJ,,AQ,,Ax ,,4c5c-7c8c,,floped stright,, even JJ w/Jc
-----THE STATEMENT ABOVE IS NOT VERY LIKELY AT ALL-------

on the other hand..heres wat really happened

with this line of betting, being so early in a SNG
u said he bet all in with nutz befor ,and the turn bet is so bad
...would be hard to give him credit for being decent,,,
and that makes this an eazy fold
Jc is your only out

i dont belive he was pot bulding on flop but trying to look weak
hopeing to get raised
so he could push

Fold preflop Q9 sooted and in clubs? Who are you? What have you done with the real bluelips:eek:

Agree with carpenter4, he's trying to get a reraise out of you.

Play 'em as you wish. However, I have found that calling a raise out of the bb without holding premium cards, is an invitation to disaster. I fold to any raise out of the bb where I don't hold premium cards. (I don't consider Q9s a premium hand, QJs, yes). Over the long run, you are going to come up a loser protecting your blind's marginal and bad cards. Having said that, there is never anything truly black and white about poker. You need to analyze every situation as it presents itself and make a decision based on all factors. But then again, what do I know? I'm just the 800lb. gorilla.
