It is better to use the brain, because you can use any tracker in live game.

There was someone here who had played with the code in poker tracker and managed to get a version working I believe. Not sure how bug free it was though. If you search around you should find it. Or maybe someone else remembers who posted about it.
Failing that you`ll have to wait for the next Hold`Em manager release which may be compatable with the Merge software.

If you play only 1 table i suggest not to use it, if you play 2 or more is a need if you dont want to be eaten alive.

I manage 9 tables without tracker... :)
Still alive!
The only thing is that you need to accept the lost you make and
look forward to the winning later. What goes around comes around. :)

With bankroll management you wont be eaten alive.
Never play on a level/stake that feel uncomfortable.
Well, it is my experience...
I have been trying tracker, odds calc... in the end I have notice my
brain works best and I get more winnings with help of my brain.

I don`t play cash games too often but I did try out PT2 at another site. I was single tabling. I didn`t have the HUD so it wasn`t incredilbly useful at the table but it was great for looking at my own stats and seeing where I was strong and where I was weak and leaking bets.
Even without the HUD I could flick back to the software and check if someone was playing a ton of pots or was playing very tight. I would imagine if you were multi-tabling and had the HUD it would be a huge help and tbh if the site allows it you`d be silly not to use it.
Besides, just because a player uses tracking software doesn`t mean he`s great at interpreting the data. It will probably help a little but it`s not going to turn a mediocre player into a genius all of a sudden.
Would I prefer it if everyone had to use their own mind? Yeah I probably would. The fact is though that it`s here and it`s unlikely to go away. If you choose not to use it that`s fine but be aware that you`re missing out on something that might help you make a profit, or a bigger profit.
It looks possible that Hold`Em Manager might work on Merge when it`s next released. There`s a possibility that that release will bring more players to this network. That might mean the action is a little tougher but there`ll be more of it which will be a good thing for the network and for the players.

Ok you are alive, but or you play in a no tracker site or you sometimes hit the deposit tab. I dont know anyone who multitable i these days without stats help against players who use it and make profit.

No deposit, and yes that site allows trackers, crushers and odds calcs.
If my bankroll goes down, I move down to lower stake or close some tables
until I am up again.
There are many players out there who does not use any tracker or so when
they are playing... and it doesn't matter if you play multitable or single.
As I have said, I have trying both this and that... but I choose to go by my
head. 1. the poker clients have been lagging, freezing and crashing. (ex.
runtime error for sure on merges sites) 2. If I run it for one client, I definitely
had to close down the other one. 3. I get good odds, but lose anyway...
because I was up against a fool.
I notice I got a better profit with my head.
If you feel more comfortable you should definitely use it.
For not long ago I was trying out a stat program... in my opinion it was a
really horrible program. I could see everything in that program. I could see
who was defending their blinds, not defending blinds, lost and winnings,
showdowns, fishes, rocks, morons, etc... I could see everything!
Well, I un-installed it... it didn't make poker fun!

I never said you couldn't, use your brain not a computer program.
