I didn't know where else to post this, but I'll try it here.
Maybe someone on this board can offer an explanation for this arcane pdc policy. The following is a response to my email asking support why I couldn't transfer money to another player.

LOL...I have made withdrawal in the past, but yet they won't allow a transfer. Logic?

In order to transfer you have to make a deposit. They ensure they get something (the deposit) before they allow you the privilege of transferring. It's a give and take kind of thing.

Both players must have made a deposit to qualify for transfers.

Still don't understand the logic. If I have the money in my account why can't I use it to make a transfer, it's my money after all (as I mentioned in the op, I have made withdrawal from my account in the past).

That's just how they have it set up. It's a requirement. From our point of view we don't see the logic, but from their business point of view it makes perfect sense & is something we have to conform to if we would like to be able to transfer.

Perfect business model. If I didn't like the site software so much, I would go elsewhere.

Maybe the player you want to transfer money to have an account at another site on merge network.
You can transfer between
Carbon > Carbon
Carbon > PDC
PDC > Carbon
PDC > PDC....
But not from Carbon to another merge site
or PDC to another merge site.
Maybe that is why!

Transfers, regardless of amount, is a sensitive area in online poker. One objection to online poker used by some anti-gambling advocates is the potential of money-laundering. Having verification/authorization rules in place help to prevent/detect this type of activity. Granted small amounts wouldn't be a real threat, but having rules and following them for everyone is the best way to run an organization.

Nope not verification issue, strictly deposit issue. I have sent in my verification, and i cant transfer. Even though i Won my real money account over 2yr ago and when i did i had a low transfer ability, when first program upgrade came that we tested started, I lost that ability myself so did some others. Why i verified, then was informed :beaten: Ill need to make deposit to transfer even though i have a bankroll.

No but a pain, when you have or were given access to that, and upgrade to system comes in and you get it taken back :beaten: or removed.

I know alot of people that cant transfer since the upgrade that have verified their account. For some reason it didn't affect me. Maybe it has to do with deposits and verification.
