Im having the usual game with the mates around every weekend playing 1/2 blinds when suddenly i manage to pick up pocket 10s out of position.

Now i was feeling pretty confident about this as all the players but one folded round to me and he was a rather loose one too. So i raised it up to 6 dollars followed by a quick call.

The Flop came 10h 10s Kh

i was absolutly estatic (inside). Knowing that slowplaying wouldnt really work on a guy like him i decided to bet half the pot 7 dollars when all of a sudden i get a reraise to 21 dollars.

Now the pots sitting at 35 dollars so i give the whole hard thought thing before calling. Next card falls down Ah. Hoping he had hit a flush or a straight (very unlikely considering his previous moves) i decided to check it over to him and hope he takes a shot. Well sure as hell he did. He raised the pot so its sitting at 84 dollars which of course i call making it a total 126.

The Final card fell down Ad.

I raise just over 2/3 of the pot tossing in another 90 dollars and to my delight he re-raised me 150. I decided to push knowing he felt he had the better hand going all in with my remaining 260 and he instantly calls. I flip over my cards feeling all ****y showing my Quad tens and lean over to rake in the cash when he flips over quad aces.

Absolutly devistated me. I didnt play poker for another 2 months after that one.

You played this about as good as you could. BTW you could have gotten a lotto ticket as the odds to lose Quad V Quad is panamount to winning the Mega Lotto :)

Also 2 months ago in a 1/2 house game this happens.

Preflop standard raise 10 bucks 3 callers. I fold

Flop Jc Js 9c

30 raise from OTG call call

Turn Jh

check check check

River 10c

OTG All in (he bluffs alot which will explain his play) All In, Call

OTG 9h 9s

Button Jd 5s (we call this hand the Hensley because when Hensley gets drunk this is his bluffing hand and he has about an 80% win when called with this vs ANYTHING)

BB 8c 7c

Everyone in the room completely shocked. BB makes comment "thats right boys next time you better fold them quads!

OTG damn best hand going in is always the worst WTF is this Online!!

lol
