1. Hand:

25K guaranteed Sunday, 75-150, my Stack is 3K

i had no cards for ages and find 88 UTG, i raise it to 420 because my image should be tight (85% fold preflop) and the BB is very tight.

loose player from MP calls and BB calls, FLOP Th Kc 8c, Pot is 1.335

BB checks, I check because i think MP should have a reason to try betting it,
he bets only 150, BB raises to 689 and I raise it to 1.950 putting the tight BB player on a good King rather than a combo draw of some kind.

MP goes all in for his remaining chips, BB folds and i call. MP has QJo for the open ended straight draw and Qc for backdoor flushdraw. Turn is a 9 and River blank..

2. Hand:

2.250g Deepstack Tourney, 100-200
I have ~6K chips and AA on the BUTTON, everyone folds and i raise to 480, i have been fairly active in the last 2 orbits and expect a call from the BB a solid player. (dont expect a reraise though). BB indeed calls. He has me covered.

FLOP
Qc 4d Qd

BB checks and I lead out about half the pot 580 chips. BB calls. Well he could have a flush draw, some PP 44+ or the dreaded Queen. Despite the flush draw i decide to play a small pot.

Turn
Qc 4d Qd 7s, pot is about 2.1k

BB checks the turn, I check as well.

River
Qc 4d Qd 7s 5c - the flush didnt come

BB bets all-in. Theres it gone my wish for a small pot. Looks like i should have bet the turn for information (?). Did he slowplay hands like 99+ ? Did he hit a 2 outer? Since he has me covered i think this is an easy fold?

i'd never check hand one, just bet and shove over a raise. C/F bad turns if you get smoothcalled

number two- he has no reason to believe you're strong here, i'd call, your hand is massively underrepped

i think this is fold for me at full table unless table is playin tight...utg+2-3

as played though im deff betting flop $1000-1200 commiting / happy wit takin it down

if u bet 1/2 pot on turn and he calls,, his riv shove will be laying u lil better than 2-1 makin it a real hard decison
so the ck/behind is fine imo (good value in catchin bluffs on riv)

the riv shove seems to be either bluff/ or the nutz wantin to seem bluffy
i think naked Q value bets riv but a hand like QQ777 might want to look like a missed fls draw bluff
this one is real close if villian has been seen bluff bombing rivs befor i can call
if not i think u got to muck the AA,, u still got like 18 bb to find a better spot

Isn't UTG the new BUTTON neways? But ya I wouldn't fault you for folding here, it can be tricky to play these in EP with that stack.

I agree with assessment here, but noticing the shove is quite the overpush (2.5x pot) I'd toss it without reads. I also agree with villains range being very polarized, whoever mentioned that earlier. You only beat bluffs here IMO.
