So, our local VFW got Wi-Fi and I went in there, not knowing. I dashed home got the laptop (my only working computer, at the moment and our friend, Billy, who is majorly adicted to gambling insisted he didn't want to learn how to play online, kept coming behind me, watching and watching. LOL. Finally, I said, sit down and watch it's not going to bite. I can pick a game you like and you can tell me what to do. OK. Well, we won the HA (Hold'em & Omaha hi/lo) tourney for $5. And then we played cash on PDC, also Omaha hi/lo and won't a few $$. Then I came home and played .25-.50 nl on my fave site
(PDC, of course) I have AA in the hole. A guy raises. I reraise. Not too much, I want to see the flop. flop is A-Q-x. I check, he bets, I reraise. Turn is 8 he goes all in, I call (of course) river is 8. I win $35 in a .25-.50 game! Cool!
So, why is this story weird? Billy, the guy at the VFW, made ALL the judgement calls last night and he saw almost every flop. It was the only time I've seen almost every flop and we didn't lose. Odd or luck? I wonder????????
