I posted this letter elsewhere, but seeing as I am always so mad at the idiots who call my raises with marginal hands and win, I wanted to post this in my PDC forum, since PDC is my (very expensive) home. I need a reminder, sometimes why people call with idiot hands. Now, I share with you my letter to the Big Stacks

Re: We Love You, BUT, you need to know that it is because we love and respect you that when you use your stack to force us out of hands, we MUST, for survival's sake employ some of the tried and true short stack methods to hang on to our very lives in these tournaments. Also, please know the statement, "When I raise, you should fold," Is laughable nonsense; you raise because you think you can push us around, fearing as we do, for our tournament lives. So, you know, if you have read even one poker strategy book (and the best of which is the chapter on Short Stack Play in Kill Phil; (Rodman and Nelson) why we call your raises with marginal hands. Remember, only YOU can see your hole cards. I'd be lying if I said that when I was the Big Stack that I didn't push with **** hands, why would you be any different? If you know you could lose a mere $1,00 in chips by pushing with 9-3 or even A-Ks we STILL have no idea of your holdings. But what we do know is you rasie us ALL THE TIME. So please, don't be offended when we call. I have not read any serious poker strategy book that says, when the Big Stacks raise crawl in a hole and get blinded to the death. Sorry, not one of the poker books says that. With all due respect, don't be upset when we who have read the poker strategy books, use what we learn. It's simply ABC poker. And while 'a chip and a chair' is romantic, we hope not to get to that point and that's why we call with marginal hands against your ever present raises.
Sincerely, and with love and respect,
The Short Stacks
