It's always like this. I'm sure they're just making sure it's all working (or as much as possible, get ready bug-finders). I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.:)

It's always like this.
I don't remember any poker software update cause a 6h server down, even on Carbon...:beaten:

Assuming the problem is with the game and/or login database, that's mean no integration tests was done on a sandbox/test server before launching, and now everyone in a hurry trying to understand what's wrong and how to fix as quick as the money loses counter grow.

I remember previous version update with many bugs and many update again same day and day after, meaning it was not ready, and now it's this 6h problem (may be 10). Not very pro.
Marketing staff refused external beta-tests, i hope they are happy now :D :(

I know that I participated in the beta testing for a couple of versions, so how do you know that the staff refused this? I don't know whether they did or did not but I'm wondering how you've acquired such inside info.

No. I tested when they brought in new games. Badugi, draw, horse and the like. And all the side games also. No one knows who gets chosen for testing or why. Just don't assume they didn't test simply because you were not a part of it.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for your patience. Obviously this downtime has taken far far longer than we anticipated but we now think we are at a stage where we can begin to start things up again. The best estimate right now is that it should be up and running in 30-45 minutes but that is just an estimate.

Ok, servers are getting started up again now. We've got a mouse on a wheel to generate the power but it takes a while to start running at full pace, so barring any unforseen circumstances about 25 minutes is the estimate.

cazwil - no sleep yet, the fun is just about to begin!

 You use a mouse to keep the power up... omg....

I would suggest you use a hamster.. they are running better and faster,
they save food in the chins and therefor can keep the speed up for a longer time. . :D
