How can you defend against it.

Can't even find the words numb to it now always going out of tournys or getting low stacked in tournys with aa kk qq jj against hands such as q9, 10 5, j 2 and 7 2. What can you do. I keep getting back up and keep getting knocked back down again. A great start to April is crumbling around my shaken knees. Maybe it's my poker, maybe I should call reraises or all ins late in tournys with nothing but a flush draw, bottom pair or gutshots. The few times I do I can assure you I don't win. But hey on the bright side at least I blame the players and don't acuse the site of being rigged lol :mad::(:rolleyes:

I still have 10 x the cash I started April with so maybe it's time to cash out and take up a new hobby. Maybe fishing at least in real life I can eat any fish I catch without them making me sick to my stomach.

At your age, there won't be much catching, which is probably just as well:P

I'll offer my 2 cents worth, but that's all it's worth.... Sometimes you have to vary/change up your game....

When you find the cards aren't going your way, or you are playing against known idiots that call with garbage, try playing tight/passive for a bit. If you deliberately play for smaller pots, you won't get short stacked or taken out by those who shouldn't be in the hand to begin with. As the saying goes.... Winning a small pot is better than losing a big one.

Just adding another bad beat to my post to let out frustration before yet again I go into another tourny lol.
Deep into PIC team tourny and have AK raise it up and have one caller. K 10 4 on flop so I throw the rest of my chips in and get called by 88 (not bad play on his part has 1400 in pot and only another 1800 ish to call and he deep stacked so may as well) anyhoo Turn Ace river 8. How sick this game we love can be :(

I was having a really good run in a tourney I was in. Then all of a sudden after the break ended so did my luck lol. But I so get what you're saying about having good cards and getting them busted by so crazy person chasing all the way to the river for the win.

Think I am just going to play the first 7 days of each month. Last month I won the $1250 the $1000 the Twitter roll and a $50 freeroll all in the first 7 days of the month. After that every game I played I got sucked out on, bad beaten out tripped etc. Then May starts and within the first 7 days I win the $2500 come 2nd in the $3000 and cash loads. Since the 7th of May I have hardly cashed at all, got sucked out on constantly and can't win any coinflip. I went 42 hands in my last tourny without winning a hand and would only have won one if I had called with every hand I was dealt. So maybe I should just play 1 week a month and go fishing for the rest of the time.:beaten::confused::beaten:

Idiots everywhere and they are proud. What a class act these people are. Idiot raises my big blind from small blind and I have q6 but am fed up of dropping my trousers to him so call. I flop top pair he all ins with j6 I call and double up. Then he gives me abuse for winning with the best hand. He then says he will now raise my blinds every time. Next blind I have ace 6 and he raises I all in and he calls 90% of his stack with j8 wins and starts mouthing how he said he would get me etc. Why are donks rewarded constantly.
