Hi, I`ll try to update this blog frequently. Once a month minimum.
I`m a German Ex-chessplayer. I was used to Magic as teenager and know bridge (partly). I didn`t like gambling or card games at all. But the image of poker changed 2005. I moved nearly 5 years ago to nl when the poker boom reached Europe. Convinced that it wasn`t pure Stuey-nostalgism (the gambling factor), which brought me to this "sport". It became a skill game for me. And sngs, especially stt`s became fastly my daily bread:
My advantage was my strict brm, what, as a student was naturally given. So I got fast into the subject, used bonusses, read a lotta books, took more and more part in live trainings and hand disussion sessions. And some tinier cashouts rewarded my lowrolling.
However I`ll never be a Pro - but I know what I`m able to reach, and what I want :o; I got a good poker community, and the good feeling that i still develop.

Nevertheless this blog will focus on sng`s, especially 10/9 man stt`s and sh ones. And this blog won`t try to be another Moshman clone - I`ll give u insight in lowroller`s bubble play, my experiences with table selection/image and using sng-skills in mtt`s.
Enough promises: This blog handles mainly 2,20-5,50 S stt`s. If u choose to focus on them, select a poker platform with low rakes or tourney structures you preferr. I focused on stt`s, because of a good roi, and because I can multitable them much more easily.
Not to forget, that a brm for sngs is not so swingy than mtt-br`s. At the moment I don`t try to change limits. I feel well where i stay, and cashout only what my br doesn`t need.
I don`t play a lotta tables at the same moment. But if you play longer, you should always play your a-game. And I play it best, if i don`t have too much routine.
So switching between 10 man stt`s and sh ones, can make a lot more action. Thus different concepts are needed:

Basics I - brm & concepts of true big blind, M-sytem & Icm:
Because there will allready follow a lot of formulas I`ll take it easy with the brm.
To be "safe" of downswings you should have 50-100 buyins of the limit you play in sngs. In mtt`s it would have to be 100-250 bi`s. Up- and downswings in sngs are naturally more swingless than mtt`s. But you need more 1st places and cashes to increase constanly your br.
Nevertheless with a strict brm, REAL downswings shouldn`t be able to happen, and if,not to harm your br massivly.

To the tb: This formulas are views. How long your stack is able to survive a special time of rounds. Or which effective stack size influences your decisions. As an example: To be filled this weekend - promised
BasicsII - Tracker, Strategy & tableimage:
early phase:
middle phase:
late phase:
Opinions - difference sh/fullring:
stt-sng-mtt: getting really used to tourney phases:
I`m happy about hints & feedback.
