ok really angry

who pulled the plug on my game ???grrrrrrrrr:mad:

in middle of a game i moved table my whole carbon dissapeared ,,,,,

couldnt even find the lil icon for carbon on my bottom tool bar,,,,

i tried logging on said client already running when it wasnt wtf:mad:

then i get a 2boxs appear 1st says file 5 has expired,,,what is that about grrrrrr and 2nd says runtime error has expired ,,,,,

i had to shut whole pc down and restart go to olog on and runtime error thingy appears again ....

then b u g g e r me if i dont get kicked out of the game completly mega hissed off ,,,,:mad:

Next time you have that problem start your "Task Manager" and "End Process" on the client. Faster than restarting your computer....

Happened to me a few times now and about a dozen times on backgammon.
Tought it was my pc but now i know its the software plus i was on PDC:mad::mad::mad:

ya have to wait til the lil PDC icon on bottom task bar goes away ..then you can log back in....sometimes it takes it a couple minutes to go away!

if u hit ur arrow to elongate task bar icons it will go away on first or second click

I did nay need to. I was away when it happened. I only needed click ok and double click icon for restart:D But to interupt a freeroll..:eek: and badugi :eek::eek: :wave:

umm i just tried signing in and this appeared ,,,,,,,,,

this is similar to what happened other day when it kicked me off site altogether ...i took screen shot to show what box says :confused:

i spoke to support back in february march this year about same sort of problem ,,,,,and they said that the big upgrade we were getting in april would stop this problem ,,,,

i play on carbon and the problem does seem as though it is the skins of PDC that are having the most trouble ,,,as lee plays on PDC and he has had the problem once which was a while ago so :beaten:

I've been getting those exact same error messages for about a month.I play on the carbon skin.

I've watched this thread for a bit. Here are a few thoughts....


IF it were a TOTAL program fault, it would happen to everyone, all the time.
IF a similar problem exists with other "graphic intensive" programs then perhaps the demand exceeds your graphic cards ability, or system memory, OR both.
Sometimes programs are written/upgraded to utilize the latest graphic drivers ( make sure you are updated ).
Just a few thoughts on WHY this happens to some ppl. :)

I never get such a thing from Carbon, PDC or any other skin ....... I run a 4G resident turbo graphic card and 4G Ram as well as a 2.5GHZ processor and all graphic updates are current... ??????? :confused: Hope this helps.

I haven't got that error since a year ago. Well, HD is in to something, but I have a hard time to believe that too, because my computer - laptop is not the best one and I have tried to run one of the skins on my old old workstation without this runtime error. I want to say it is something else.

I have tried to run the software on Pentium II with ram 512 MB and it was working. OK, slow but it was working with a little patience. Most annoying was the antivirus program which were running the whole time.

My laptop had a processon on 1, 60GHz and 1 Gig ram.... and still I don't get runtime error.


However it is freezing in between, but that is because of my fan not working properly.

It must be something else. I don't know, I thought I read some where in the forum, don't know if it was of Liam ... maybe it was. And he said it would be a 3rd party conflict.
