Forum Avatars

Hi everyone,

We have turned on avatars for the forum.

When you have 25 posts or more you will be able to choose an avatar from our library (the same as the Player Icon library for the Poker.com software).

After you have 100 posts you will be able to upload your own avatar. If you want to upload your avatar the maximum size is 60 by 60 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller)

To choose your avatar go to User CP and then Edit Avatar.

**Animated gifs are not allowed as avatars.


Now the serious stuff ;)

We will not tolerate people spamming in order to get avatars - posts will be deleted, you could be restricted from getting avatars or you could be banned (for a specific time ore permanently).

We will also not tolerate any inappropriate images being uploaded. If you use and inappropriate image (such as nudity, violence etc) then it will be removed and you could receive a ban (for a specific time ore permanently).

Remember this is for fun - so don't abuse it :)

This libray, is there a refrence to go to view the chart of how many posts you need to get a name and avatar, where is this libray?

Example: My name says TT-dimes underneath it, How many post did it take to get this name?

I would like answeres to these questions, please?

Does anyone know the answers?

I always wondered about the second name myself, thought people with them were members of a special group outside of this forum.

This discussion is about Avatars... not your name under your main name

The LIBRARY refers to the list of images Poker.com made available for you to select an avatar.... If you have over 100 posts you have the option to go beyond what the library offers and use your own image...

As for the name, that reflects on your post count...

I see many players have there big tournie wins highlighted underneath they're posts
ie an Ace card and (tournietype) tournament winner.
Was just wondering if there is a setting,..or is it done in html.txt mode?..
I did send an email to admin, but havent got a response in a week.Any help would be appreciated.
If for some reason my win signature appears after I post this..please forgive and move on...other wise...any help?

Does the Avatar option only become available after your eligible? It would be nice to browse the library to see what is on offer ;)

If you go to your User CP and click on Edit Options... you can alter your Miscellaneous options to Enhanced Interface... which will then allow you to insert smileys...cards...etc. in your signature. It is a maual fix, your signature will not update itself.

There are two different avatars. You can upload your own for your name box in the poker software. This avatar is the one you can have for the forum. You can only upload your own after a certain # of posts. See the first message in this thread. I think it is all explained there.

thank u for the avatar help i find alot of self downloaded avatars offensive though. i wish people would be a little more considerate of other players when posting their avatars. afterall this is not a pornographic site. thanks for listening.

Has there been any thought about enlarging the avatars so they may be seen alittle better?

It takes 100 post for your own custom avatar.

Once you reach your 100... make a custom avatar. I have a few, I like to switch'em up everyonce and a while... thanx Leafy68 for this one.. It's my fav!

It's 100 as well, but I didn't wanna force people to look at my ugly mug... so I left my photo in my profile only... that way you can avoid looking at me if you so chose to do so!;)
