| Spamming |
| Members are not allowed to post the same message multiple times on the board, or post the same message numerous times in a particular thread or forum, or continuously make posts that have no real content or that has no relevance to what is being discussed.
Posting too much can also be considered spamming. As a general rule, don't post more than two or three threads in a forum within a reasonable length of time. Do not post more than twice in a row in the same thread. If you need to answer more than one person in the thread, please use the quote function, or if you want to add something more use the edit function. Result The extra threads/posts that you posted may be deleted or locked by an admin or moderator. If you are a repeat offender, or if your posting causes disruptions then you could receive a ban (bans can be for a few hours/days or permanently). |
| Privacy |
| Unless a poster has stated or made it clear that they don't mind, you can not post any details of their real-life identity. You also can not post material such as emails, private messages, chat logs or any other type of messages - without the consent of all involved parties.
Also if you want to discuss something that has happened at one of the tables then do not post other players names unless they have given you consent. It is unfair to attack another poker player if they do not have the chance or ability to be able to respond to you. Result The material you posted may be edited out. You could receive a ban (bans can be for a few hours/days or permanently). |
| Trolling |
| Trolling is an internet term that means you're not posting to actually start or participate in a discussion, but simply to anger another member/s. Posting in order to bait other users, moderators or administrators will not be tolerated.
Result The threads/posts may be deleted or closed by a moderator or admin. The admin may decide to give a ban (bans can last for a few hours/days or be permanent). |
| Flaming |
| You cannot insult other members, whether it is a mild flame (such as calling someone an "idiot") or a more severe one. If you disagree with someone's opinion, do not attack the person themself for posting that opinion.
Also, don't respond to a flame with a flame. You cannot flame people and then claim to have been defending yourself. If you have a complaint, notify a moderator or admin rather than responding yourself. Result The threads/posts may be deleted or closed by a moderator or admin. The material you posted may be edited out. If you are a repeat offender, or if your posting causes disruptions then you could receive a ban (bans can be for a few hours/days or permanently). |
| Posting Images / Videos |
| Because some of our members have slower internet connections, as a courtesy if you want to post images please make sure you do not post more than 50-60kb worth of photos. Posted images must also be from web space that you own, or with the permission from the web master on which the image is located to avoid bandwidth theft to the site owner.
Also, do not post or link to any images or videos with adult or explicit content. Result The images you posted may be edited out or deleted. If you are a repeat offender, or if your posting causes disruptions then you could receive a ban (bans can be for a few hours/days or permanently). |

| Do not post to sell or endorse a product or web site, or ask for money for individual use.
